Hey Guys
I am all most done with my comm license and starting to get really interested in the gyrocopters now.
What sort of training will it be to get a gyro license and will I be able to hire and fly a gyro when I am

Re: Gyro Question
Hi Checkride
By law you require 15 hours dual and 15 hours solo as a minimum. Concessions can be applied for if you have the appropriate experience. We have succeeded in getting at least 10 hours credit before. Basically the cross countries and controlled airspace need not be repeated if you did them recently. You will be required to write at least Aircraft Technical and General (Engines & Airframes) and Principles of Flight. Normally your other exams will be credited if you wrote them recently.
A word of caution though... BEWARE the GYROCALYPSE! There is no money to be made flying them but it is the most fun to be had with your clothes on... and it may skew your aviation perceptions forever... so take care but feel free to call me for a demo flight on oh eight 2 450 607two to arrange a flight from Aerosport Fisantekraal.
