Hi All,

Yes yes it is me again. My trike is with Larry at Bapsfontien, he has just done the ATF for me, and I believe he has spoken to someone at mMicroland (I think his name is Hans) with regard to some hangarage for me till the fly in. My question is this, anyone from Microland or Petit, could I please fly with you as I have not flown the area area before and need help such as reporting points, change of frequencies etc. (**) I am based in the Northern cape but will be relocating to the east rand in January...

Please guys all the help will be greatly appreciated...so If i can fly with please let me know who I can contact, I am hoping to take off at 6:30 am (4:30 Zulu)...so if anyone is flying at that time I would appreciate to join in.

Thanks guys (^^)

Gary

Have not read through all the postings, but my name and SAAF forms have been submitted.

Can anyone tell me please what is the agenda for the morning? - just to inform my Bantam Squadron compadres planning to fly-in from as far as Nelspruit!

Many thanks

I have marked your name on page 8 on this forum. We will be flying in from 6:00 am. Breakfast will be available at the canteen and Hot dog stand. ATC will be on duty from 7:30. The a/c that land before 07:30 am will be subject to unmanned airfield procedures, the active runway will be determined by prevailing winds. The normal Museum fly day will commence at 08:30 am

Spectators will be allowed entrance free of charge

Hi Les,

What time are you guys planning on flying back? Are you going to return in the morning or later that afternoon? I know we need to contact Waterkloof, but when will we change to the FASK frequency, once overhead the Ben Schoeman? Or will Waterkloof hand us over? (**) (**)

Sorry I am asking these stupid questions, just never flown there before...so as I said before all help is appreciated.

Regards

Gary

Those that fly out before 7:30 will do so without ATC procedures. All others will be slotted into the procedures and under ATC rules.Because the Museum fly day only starts +/- 08:30 there will be enough time to get the majority out without much waiting time.

Hi Les:

I haven't registered with you yet because we had something on for that weekend. However, the plans changed and I am able to participate with the fly in to Swartkops, if you allow me to. It is worth mentioning that Johan Boshoff(ZU- BGE) whose name appears on your list, was the unfortunate pilot who had an accident on Sunday(12 September 2010) as was reported on "accident and incident reports" I have talked to Johan and he informed me that it is Ok with him if I go in his place. My particulars are as follow:

Name: Andries du Plessis
Registration: ZU-BVO

I will be sending you the completed forms today.

Your assistance will be appreciated.

Regards

Wynand Bezuidenhout
Deon Barnard
Hans Kolver
Flippie
PietB
Andrew Pappas (Nelspruit)....possible two others bu sorry don't have their names. Andrew however did say he would make sure they got the forms and faxed to your 086 no.
