Hi there SkyRat

I'll find out at the club on Wednesday but sincerely don't think you should get your hopes up. I know the club has one but the status of the ATF is unknown to me.

The other chap to possibly approach is Chris Badenhorst.

Will post on Thursday....

Hey There Skyrat,

I am going down to knysna in December, trike in tow, I am hoping to hangar it in Rheenendal, still no word yet but I will have the trike there. What I am saying is if you don't come right let me know and we can work something out.

My trike by the way is a Raptor with a rotax 503....just in case you were wondering..

HI John,

Yes it is about just like that...but I tell you after 3 years of nothing but sand, a bit of blue ocean will do wonders to a person...lol

But yes...I am rather fond of the extremes..... (!!)

Hi Skyrat,

I was in Mosselbay for a week during July - made numerous enquiries to hire a trike - as John said don't get your hopes up. I contacted Chris Badenhorst as well - they don't rent out anymore - apparantly some okes have bent their aeries in the past. (**) My advice - go for the beach and take a break from flying. Unless you want to trailer. In which case i'm sure the club will help. (^^)

I am going to Keurbooms from 28 Dec to 10 Jan 2011 - am thinking of trailering into Plet, assemble there and fly to Stanley Island which is in the Keurboomsriver, and then operate from there. Need to enquire though about hangarspace - I don't fancy leaving Geel Kerneels out in the open by de sea.

By the way the plane is known as Kerneels , an oldish Windlass 503 , new crank , pistons and instruments - used for solo flying at Rhino Park
Radio , GPs and headsets included - Helmets and flight suits optional ! puff puff

Hi Leprechaun,

Will you be flying in or near Mossel Bay, or closer to the Knysna Area? I am trying to get a place near Knysna (Hopefully Rheenendal) where I can hangar and rig my plane for a week or 2. Would be great to join up with you on a flight if you are in the area....

Leprachaun, what are your dates for Still Bay? I'll probably be at Witsand for some of Dec with my 503 must catch up.
