FLY AWAY TO BLUE MAX - TO GET THE STORIES FIRSTHAND

Hi All,

As indicated under "Fly in my Propwash", I am flying to Blue Max Saturday morning to get the stories! (And to pop that bottle of Champs that I promised!)

Will be taking the scenic route - FABA - Loskopdam - FAGL - Blue Max, and back on Sunday via Rust de Winter - FABA - see coords below. Sleep over Saturday night.

Jy sien mos ek doen my bes oom Paul! Ek vlieg 'n DUUR bottel champagne saam - soos belowe - ons gaan hom drink en almal gaan sign op die label! Ek sal jou more so net na 13h00 bel met die final count - dan kan jy vir Jimmy of Sillo dorp toe stuur met ons shopping list! (Vleis, Mogas, Zama lek, en verskeie ander happies.) Ons maak in "cash" met jou reg sodra ons arriveer - EN ONS VAT NIE NEE VIR 'n ANTWOORD NIE!!!

What a lekker weekend trip! Microland, Loskop dam, Groblersdal, Blue Max, Arabiedam, Marble Hall, Blue Max, Renosterkop dam, Rust de Winter dam, Cullinan Groot Gat, Rhino Park, Microland.

My buddy Johann Grundlingh who played cameraman in the backseat took 317 photos and more than an hour of video footage. I think we have this area covered now!

Weather was superb, and it was nice to kuier around the kampvuur with my OLD buddy Blue Max, and shake his hand after his long trip.

I forgot the bloody bottle of champagne in my fridge. Will drink it next time we go down there.
