Mag Problem

Postby Flying Dutchman » Sun Feb 05, 2006 10:18 pm

I washed my wing on Friday. Before the wash I did a mag check and everything was perfect. After the wash the one mag swich is doing nothing and the other cuts the engine. The switches were covered with plastic but not the engine and did get a bit wet from water running down the wing.On Sat no change.Any suggestions please. 503

Your mag switches when in the OFF position send an earth the two Black/Yellow leads coming out of the front of the engine. You have probably got water in there and it is not making contact.
