Peninsula tour shots

Postby Gyronaut » Sat Jul 10, 2010 10:59 am

Paul (Jabi430) and I flew from Morningstar around the Peninsula on Thursday afternoon with some friends on board Magni ZU-DUO and Sycamore ZU-RDR.
Here are some shots from my dash-cam. Pity I had to compress and resize them, lost a lot of the quality.

Thanks Paul, it was a great flight!

Biggles, when you're back we can easily set up a gaggle of trikes and Gyro's for a jaunt around there!

Paul, I'd happily go all the way round, the emergency options around Cape Point become rather limited though unless we go really high. Hopping across Red Hill to Simonstown is also an option.

Planning session for sure Steve (Biggles), let me know when you are back! (^^)

The camera is a GOPRO Hero HD mounted to a suction cup on the inside of the windscreen for now. I intend to mount it permanently on the outside on top (or perhaps inside at the back of the cockpit) of the M24 when I get it.

Hi Coyote, thanks for the gift of the timer! I didn't need to use it on this little excursion so you will notice that it stays set on the same throughout - but it is a most useful gadget at times!
