So! The English Lost. Are you surprised?

Postby mcfly » Sun Jun 27, 2010 8:49 pm

I used to be an avid English soccer fan from way back and I remember 1966 when they won the World cup. I have followed the English team through the years, rejoiced when they won and was saddened when the lost. Players like Gascoigne ,Hoddle, Waddle, Lineker,( I could carry on) etc, were the idols of everyone that I was associated with and we followed the English games without missing one match.

Then!.....premadonnas like Rooney, Gerard, and the like appeared on the scene and the English believed that these gods were going to recapture the glory days of English football. These so called icons/gods have made a mockery of the team game and hijacked the media attention to such a degree that the English believed that they only had to turn up for the closing ceremony to get the World Cup 2010. The belief in these players is of such magnitude that the English team have become a self centered, pompous, arrogant bunch of people that I could not bear to watch them play any more. :(
I truly rejoiced today at their loss to Germany which put them out of the WC2010. May they all come back down to earth and be rid of these gods and become a TEAM again!! ## ##

Germany taught the English a lesson to remember =D* =D* =D* Man! what a team =D* =D*

GERMANY FOR THE WORLD CUP No stars just honest to goodness fabulous football (^^) (^^)

Wouldn't it be a cracker of a game - Germany vs. Argentina in the finals?

I am seriously pleased the bloody Brit hooligans (same goes for the French) have departed!

Must say the English are a far cry from when Sir Bobby, Robson & Kevin Keegan played!

Whats the difference between Cinderella and the England football team?
Cinderella wanted to get to the ball…………

Osama bin Laden has just released a new TV message to prove he is still
alive. He said that the England Team performance on Saturday was completely
s**t. British intelligence have dismissed the claim, stating that the
message could have been recorded anytime in the last 44 years.

I can't believe we only managed a draw against a s**t team we should easily
have beaten......I'm ashamed to call myself Algerian.

The England team went to visit an orphanage in South Africa this morning,
"its so good to put a smile on the faces of people with no hope, constantly
struggling, and facing the impossible" said Jamal Omboto, aged 6.

Fifa have released a statement saying the fan didn't break into the
dressing room after all, but was let in by Rob Green.

What's the difference between Rob Green's spill and BP's spill?
- Robert Green has got a cap for his.

Fabio Capello was wheeling his shopping trolley across the supermarket car
park when he noticed an old lady struggling with her bags of shopping. He
stopped and asked, "Can you manage dear?" To which the old lady replied,
"No way. You got yourself into this f*****g mess, don't ask me to sort it
out..."
