Is she still training in your Cobra or have you sold it?
I think she's still training. This morning going past the airfield, I saw a yellow Cobra taxying to the runway holding point. HHHmmmm, I was taxying to the next robot!!!

Navigation !!

Postby Chaz » Mon Jan 16, 2006 2:34 pm

Heya Folks :!: :!:

Short report back on Carmens progress :D :D :D Did a dual navigation to Delmas and back and creamed it. Also done some turbulant flying crosswind takes offs thismorning as well :!: :!: Overall Fred very impressed with her.

Actually im embarressed to say that my daughter has done more flying than me in the last 2 months

Carmen has also just finished her AFF, ISP and just needs a packing licence and then she gets her A licence for sky-diving as well. To-date 45 jumps.

Solo Soon!!

Postby Chaz » Wed Feb 01, 2006 9:29 am

Heya Folks :!: :!:

Up-date on Carms's progress. Was at the Airfield yesterday morning and Carmen was flying with a different instructor as Fred wanted a second opinion. Carms doing quite severe crosswind engine out landings. After the session and consulting the instructor Carms is (weather permitting) scheduled to do her first "SOLO" flight on Friday morning :D :D :D

Excellent news! She's doing really well. Tell her I'm holding thumbs and hoping the weather will be 100%.
