For those who have Efis systems in their gyro's, won't the rotor vibrations have a negative effect on the system?
Any thoughts?

how difficult is it to install?
Good instructors always speak well about all flying machines.
Bad instructors speak badly about machines they cannot fly.

Eish...how long is a piece of string?saraf wrote:how difficult is it to install?
I have read through the manual of MGL's Odyssey and it looks quite straight forward.
C'mon...how hard can it be?

Re: EFIS In Gyro's
I have installed an Enigma in my Xenon, re-programmed every page and instrument to be more logical for gyro operation, worked first time !
Flying is like dancing, it is a love affair between the pilot and his aircraft
Re: EFIS In Gyro's
Efis panels are FAR easier to install then steam gauges! FAR less wiring and with a little reading in the instrucions
programing them is easier than you think!

Re: EFIS In Gyro's
After careful consideration... I am putting an MGL Voyager in the right panel of my M24 and a slaved Enigma in the left.
I am leaving the Flydat and Steam Airspeed and Altimeter in there for training purposes.
Ok Ok, the smart ones among you have probably realised that I will be spending more time in the right seat than the left ... hence the Voyager on my side
I will give you full feedback once I have experienced this equipment in due course, Seems like the only way to go for me.
