Hi Greg,
I am having the exact same phenomenom on my 582 Silver Top with autolube and have had no solution up to now.
Only thing that it can be it that the auto lube system throttle lever doesn't fully go back to it's closed position although I never found it to be stuck half open as we suspect the vibration of the engine to vibrate it to the close position before switching it off. If, however, you apply throttle when the engine is not running, this is clearly the case and the throttle stays half open. Really not sure but I am about to attach a "aftermarket" spring to the throttle to PULL it close when no throttle is applied.

I'll check and see what happens.

Problem Solved

It appears there is a small check valve located in the banjo pipe. It has a small spring/ball etc . Poss a small piece of dirt ? has lodged. Replaced pipe ALL FIXED

Could you elaborate on which pipe you actually changed?

Sorry for the slow response . Rain and more and school holidays.
Further investigation has revealed - I am not the only one to suffer this odd oil leak . The problem appears to be dirt or old tired springs in the non return valves on each of the oil pump outlets. In my case only one side. The oil pipe banjo (See Morph post previous) is attached to pump and feeds 2 small delivery lines terminating under the carbies. (item number 30 in rotax schematic.). Because I do not have a oil pump to examine I elected to replace both valves . The logic here is as follows . If oil output is on the same manifold, Then evenally distributed oil pressure would favour the weak spring . Result less oil to strong spring fed cylinder. Hope all this makes sense
