DUE TO W/C 2010 WE HAVE HAD TO BRING THE DATE OF OUR ANNUAL FLY-IN FORWARD.THE NEW DATE FOR 2010 IS 14-16MAY2010.ALREADY GETTING FEEDBACK.LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING EVERYONE AGAIN AND HOPE TO MAKE LOTS OF NEW FRIENDS.WILL KEEP YOU POSTED OF EVENTS

Short update on Fly-in:We have a weekend package available--Guesthouse package;R580.00
Hotel package;R480.00

Package includes;2 nights accomodation
entry to Fri.+Sat functions with meals(Traditional lamb braai+pot)
English breakfast on Sat.+Sun.morning
Transport to and from the airfield with shuttle all weekend

Working on program.Will keep you posted.

Hoping to meet lots of new people and looking forward to seeing all the regulars.

So far on programme.Flips for public provided by F.T.C + Mossel Bay skydivers.Tandem Skydives for the brave,R/C aircraft,Static displays.We will have anumber of stalls selling all sorts.We also hope to have a couple of stalls specifically for visiting pilots.Entertainment in main Hangar all day and Hangar dances at night with meals .

No Shaune, It is not a stupid question. Carnarvon is about 2km to the north west of Volstruiskop and about 5km east of Maanhaarkop. You can't miss it. (**)

I forgot to mention, from us you just head South West untill you get to Swartbaadjie and then Vaalberg to Langbooi. From there you go south over Canarvon to the airfield in the South. Hope this helps vhpy

Hi Guys

Carnarvon is about 230-250 km due south of Upington.Long way in aTrike ,but we will make your stay worth it.Anything from 50-70 aircraft visit us yearly.

(We still fly old Windlass trikes here.Very old)Have a Basic in the hangar as well as 3 old Eagles.Also a Benson Gyro.

Would love it if you guys could make it,even if by vehicle.My Trike is available to see the wide(very) wide open spaces of the Karoo.

I think i will make a turn by road and have a weekend away with the softness, but will check with the minister of Death and Destruction is okay with the dates etc. ## ##
