Lovely morning flying - Diemers to Franshoek

Take off - had to hold for balloon to pass RW 04 - exelent view. vhpy vhpy

Landing - Had to hold - west off the field - then take a quick window to enter behind the Porter taking off (buzy with rapid meatbomb dropping at 4500ft) (^^) (^^) (^^) (^^)

Very nice flying morning.

To my flying partner - V enjoy holiday (sorry couldnt stay out off the air)

Wow, brilliant pics, I'm jealous! Being cramped up for 14 hours in big airliners just doesn't compare. Add the current -17 degrees and snowfall to it and I'm almost miserable. But family, friends and skiing are fun too and will catch up with you when I'm back in January!

Merry Christmas!

Cheers,

V.

Gees we really missed out, We ended up at Diemers having a coffee and roll at the hangar. (Graham and I) With NO where to go.
What an organisational mess up. !! Hopefully we'll get it right sometime. Did'nt get near Tulbagh as we had hoped, so missed out on all the lekka flying up that way. Pity on such a nice day.
Oh well.I'll just be .............

Thanks for the hospitality at Porterville! The hot tea was a life-saver, it was *very* cold at 4000ft in the trike ...

(I promise, I'll start working on my Afrikaans skills vhpy )
