For those who are still wondering it appears the following is the "deal"
Requirements for microlight instructor are simply a minimum of 200 hours ( if you have a PPL 100 hrs on microlights), do an instructors course at a recognised school that does instructor courses and has at least two A grade instructors, at least 10 hrs of patter with A grade instructors, exams and instructor flight test.
Simple.

Done.

Panorama is just south Jhb. Close to RD Alberton. Where you based? If you go towards Rand Airport, take N14 Kby, then R59(R26?) Vereniging (sp?) Then klipriver off ramp, turn right over Hway and follow it about 6km's. Panorama is on left hand side. Don't know if Mike does courses, but am told he can help?

Cheers
G

Seems will need to travel to Cato, La M or Slummies. :? No one in Jhb as yet, but been under pressure and WX has not helped.

Suggest you fone one of the following guys. (They have all offered to help, but have to get down to them)
 David Daniel - La Mercy Tel: (+27) 84-COME-FLY ( +27-84-2663-359) or E-mail: comefly@mweb.co.za
 Geoff Dyer - Light Flight (www.lightflight.co.za) 031 782 1987 082 331 1104 geoff@lightflight.co.za
 Clinton Phillips Boarder aviation club - (043) 740 1724 Cell: 082 857 9405 e-mail: clinton@electrodynamics.co.za

Can't believe there are no Jhb based instructors/schools? :?: :?
