What will be the value of a 2nd hand Icom A3 be in working order with almost U/S battery?
Friend took mine and I must tell him how much I want for it. Looks like the one in the photo but without the VOR

The street value of the Icom ICA3e (it must be the "e" version) in operating order irrespective of battery condition is about £100,00 in the UK as its the last type approved for usage over there. Check AFORS fro guidelines. I would say about R950,00 would be a fair price as they are old in the tooth and are becoming troublesome with age. Capacitors are packing up etc. We are getting several to repair nowadays.
The ICA 4 is fetching far more as the PPG pilots like them and only recently discontinued.
