You make an interesting point Bacchus.
I went solo this morning :D and I'm still on cloud nine.
I was forced to switch instructors a couple of lessons ago and found it worked to my advantage.
The perfectly plausible reason given to me by the second instructor is that when you stay with the same instructor from scratch he may find it hard to let go of the picture he has in his mind of a total incompetent. The next instructor comes along however with confidence in the training that you've had until then, which reflects back on you as a student. It worked for me anyway!
I doubt that the rest of you are aware of how much help a site like this is to us learners. I've felt like quitting a few times due to a perceived lack of progress, but referance to relevant postings always got me back on track. Many thanks to all.

Well done DJG, sticking it out paid off so it seems.

I have found it helpful if able to fly with different instructors, you're always learning.

Wart - let's get it together - this year has gotten off to a very good start.

KB, when Wart eventually goes solo, there's going to be a beer or two that gets sunk on the spot.

Trouble is that beer only has a 12 month shelf life – anybody care to join me in emptying the truck? ':-

Wow - you guys really know how to celebrate success! :shock:
Probably best to stay away from Panorama for the next couple of months.
I'm in the market for a trike now. The guys from our way seem to favour the Raptor, probably for geographic reasons. You don't see many second-hand ones for sale. Is this beacause nobody wants to part with them or there's just not many around?

Raptor is a good quality trike with exelent handling. Is also busy with BCAR certification whitch means that it is of the highest standard and material.

I am willing to help you take on the dubious task of ensuring that the truckload of beer does not spoil. I believe that it is my civic duty and besides mother always said "waste-not-want-not".
