Duct Tape. Look what a bear can do to your plane

Look what a bear can do to your aerie if you leave something to eat in your plane!! This happened on a "Fishing fly-in" trip. The pilot and his fisherman passenger left a cooler with bait in the aircraft. Bears smell it and this is what hapen with the plane. The pilot phone a friend who brought him two tyres, 3x boxes of duct tape and some plastic sheeting. He repaired the aeroplane and flew it back home. Wonder what will happen in SA??? I think your plane would be gone!!

Wonder if you duck tape a whole airframe (like a bb for eg.) Would it fly? How does weight compare, then beggs the question. Why bother with all the lap en pap etc. just wrap it and fly

This just shows you what the excellent Koala aircraft are capable of. Wonder if some wood in the structure was also damaged and duct taped?.
Sadly I had to sell mine.

Clearly that was over the sea where everything is seriously cheaper!

Judging from the repair job, he used quite a few rolls and duct tape ain't the cheapest thing around!
