The organisers are glad to announce that at a MISASA meeting last night it was decided to reduce the entry fees for this competition. (^^)

The entry fees were reduced from R450.00 to R250.00 for each of the PIC and the navigator.

Participants that have already paid their fees will be reimbursed.

All participants are reminder to bring a GPS for the competition. (One per team)

The GPS may not be used during flight but will be placed in your aircraft's saddle bag/ baggage compartment.

You will be issued with a flight recording device for the competition. After each task, you flight profile and routing will be downloaded from the flight recording device by the organisers. This information will be used in the scoring process.

The abovementioned GPS will be acting as a backup flight recorder.

The organisers would like to assure that all participants get an equal scoring opportunity in case the issued flight recorder malfunctions.

May be the orginazers must allow the Rietfontein guys to fly with their GPS's. These guys don't fly this often and will need some king of assistance.

Looking forward to seen some of you at the competition. What happen to the Manne van Staal?????. Do they still fly microlights at Springs???

Cheers Skin
