I will take that as a compliment...I think vhpy
I have a Canon 40D and the shots were taken with a Canon 100-400mm lens. It was very gloomy when I took these pics though :(
I take a lot of aviation pics but not so many microlight pics. I would like to photograph more of them though ...Its about time the microlight guys had a massive fly-in (swarm-in ? )....and then I will be there like a Bear !

With respect to the Jenya Trike.... it was a revelation to see someone having so much fun on so little horsepower vhpy
I think there should be a new point of measure for all microlights ... some sort of fun to HP ratio !
So far the Jenya Trike is in the lead.

njam njam.

I want one for crismis. Low and slow. Now you just need one of those airballs for safety and a topless wing. If you run out of fuelyou can just through it over your shoulder and walk back.
If there is grass between your toes , you're flying to low.....
If ever in doubt about flying - drink a beer.
That will give you at least 8 hours to think about it some more.

Has the regs been changed since this one I have - coz if it hasn't then theoretically even a normal trike could be classed as powered hang-glider:
I. HANG-GLIDERS, INCLUDING POWERED HANG-GLIDERS
24.01.2.I.2 Classification perimeters
(1) Hang-gliders shall meet the same classification perimeters to the extent
applicable as set for microlight aeroplanes. These perimeters are:
(a) minimum flying speed at maximum take-off mass to be less than
65 km/h;
(b) maximum take-off mass of –
(i) 300 kg for a single-seater hang-glider; and
(ii) 450 kg for a two-seater hang-glider.
(2) For the purposes of establishing conformity with subparagraph (1)(b),
the following payloads are to be included:
(a) Per seat: 84 kg.
(b) The lesser of full fuel load or –
(i) 15 kg in the case of a single seater; and
(ii) 22 kg in the case of a two-seater.

Marius, I cannot understand why so many are perving here when yours has been on sale over so long. (**)

You need to make a glamour ad, like getting a topless DDD blonde tflying "'touch 'and go's".

Guys, check this link, he's open to cash offers of around ten grand. That includes a new wing cover.

Looks fantastic! This must be as close to the basics of fun powered flying you can get powered parachutes excluded. Looks like tremendous fun!

Awaiting a price....

BTW, you mention that this will not need to be registered, since it is a powered hang glider, will one be able to fly it with a MPL?

More so with a MPL than no license. I doubt that you will get away with flying it without a license.

The lightweight trike again features in Microflight Africa, but still no word about availabilty and price?
