NOTHING :(

But, ZS-WRG has arrived from Cape Town. I am in a syndicate that has just bought it, a Windlass with a 200hr 582 on it. A toy box full of goodies including a second 3-blade prop, a second wing cover etc etc.

We did a brief engine run, the carbs need to be re-jetted. We are proposing to do a re-wire so it will be a while b4 we fly. We will continue to fly AYV till she sells - see the 4 SALE section.

Friday afternoon took my daughter on her first ever flite in a microlight. She is a nervous passenger at the best of times and screamed "oh my gosh..." all the way down the runway. 5 seconds after becoming airborne said "hey this is actually cool" and before landing asked when she can start learning. Another convert :D We ended up cruising along the coast and for 30 minutes watching the sun set.

Saturday morning was a breakfast fly in to Franschoek but it was very hazy and with the easterly a bit bumpy. I opted to stay close to home instead.

Yip, buzzed around the airfield doing circuits, also engine outs, engine outs on take-off and stalls - great fun, loved every minute - especially engine outs & stalls!! Also heard today I was declared fit to fly by CAA. Now must just wait for the official piece of paper before I can go solo!

Did fly this last weekend but I haven't started circuits yet so you are way ahead of me!

I used to be too, until I found out Rotax runs better WITH petrol

I used to fly gliders previously - perhaps that's paid off. 8)

Wart, I wouldn't be too sure, CAA could take a while to issue the silly bit of paper. :? :?

Good news 205. :D Should we start a "who is going to solo next" thread??

As the Morph said is was a bit bumpy and misty on Saturday so we stayed in the circuit doing low levels and touch-and-go (and playing dodgems with a cesspit and couple of other microlights.)

Sunday, believe it or not, was wet and windy (very odd for this time of year  )
