RIP solojack - Funeral service details

Postby Wart » Wed Dec 16, 2009 7:25 am

It is with great sadness that I must inform you of the sudden passing of my flying buddy solojack at 02:30am this morning.

In brief, a sinus infection led to a cyst on the brain causing severe headaches. The cyst was drained however there were complications and bleeding around the brain stem; he went into a coma and passed away.

Condolences. Sad how something so trivial can make things go wrong.

My sincere condolences to Wart and Davids family. Tragic to lose a friend/husband/father.
One consolation is that you have good memories.

You know what sucks???

People who say they are going to be at a memorial service and then don't pitch. Leaves a bitter taste in my mouth especially when it is people from the flying community!

Over and Out.

Shitty if okes commit to attend and don't pitch, but one can't measure repect by attendance. For some attending and not being personally familiar with the family is awkward and sometimes even intrusive. Maybe this being a natural tragedy (?) brings our vulnerability too close to home.

Strongs to all.
