Painting of aircraft

Postby pietmeyer » Thu Dec 03, 2009 4:41 pm

Now that I bought a new toy, I would like to personalize her a little. Anybody know who can help me paint my SkyJeep in Gauteng area? How difficult is it to paint or should I get professional help? Anything I should look out for?

Any sugesstions on a new dress for her?.......no pink

I asked a lot of similar questions here:

At the moment I am contemplating having my plane professionally painted at Skyworx:

Just remember that paint is pretty heavy. If you don't strip to bare metal before spraying, you will be adding around 4kg to the plane, and with the VW up front, you probably already have a fairly restricted payload...
