Is it a bird -is it a plane - The Phoenix

Postby Leprachaun » Fri Nov 27, 2009 11:05 am

The Phoenix was spotted late afternoon yesterday in the Bapsfontein area !
Me wonders is it ?- a bird ,is it a plane - or what -
The brewery has come to the party a six pack green and goldies for the correct or nearest answer !
I think Duckie has some inside info on this one , but ..................he isnt around
ZS Nel the spy in the sky doesnt know either -
Maybe me will enjoy them beers this weekend when the leps eat the bokke???

Ja boet - no Koeksusters - but thye green and golds are in the fridge - and the Phoenix has landed -
The first flight was unreal - - tomorrow it will take to the sky again , and after abour 5 hours the CAA will do the finals on the paperwork and the Phoenix will have to sttle down and start earning a living
O by the way the Irish thrased the bokkies - looks like the coach is starting to lose it now , or is it the Jake White wearing out
I rest me case and the green and golds reamin on the rocks in the fridge

Leppy, I wouldnt say thrashed!! Lucky to beat a tired Bok side - the Springbok scrum was unbelievable, they couldnt secure the ball that the forwards worked so hard to try and win. I dont know who stopped Tendai (couldnt see through the mist!!) but that brave Irishman deserves a pocket of potatoes!

Being an ex provincial referee myself, I don't normally complain about refereeing, but Saturday's ref in the Bok game was atrocious!

Not Anton's gyro project which is being developed & built in Spain? But IIRC the rotor system is being locally built. http://www.phenix.aero/
