Who are you??

Postby Tribal Croc » Fri Nov 27, 2009 5:17 pm

On Friday 27th November 2009 I saw 4 microlights flying over our lodge near Bela Bela. It was at about 10 to 5 when they came from Pretoria direction and looked like they were heading towards Kunkuru Lodge or maybe Zebula? I ran into the house to get my binoculars and could only see the last one’s reg ZU-PLY (I think) (-) .Who are you guys and where were you going :?: I am busy finishing my runway (only windsock needed) when it is finished you guys are more than welcome to pop in for a coke. (^^)
I will be posting a fly to the bushveld venue in the next couple of weeks.

Safe flying and hope to see you soon

Hi TC,
If you're still looking for a windsock, I will donate my spare one, on condition I can also drop by some day :)

I once crossed the Hartbeespoort dam wall (barely) flying pax with an unnamed Rieties-boy (Make that Oom) - They have what they call the "Rietfontein safe crossing altitude" - Was a thrill indeed (^^) (!!)

Wow!! Great offer TC thanks. Done deal. I in fact landed up in the area this morning, unplanned. Had I known I was heading that way, I would have carried a windsock with.
I'm busy next week, but PM me your contact details and I will make a plan to drop it off after 6 December.

Yep indeed - twas us - Guilty as charged....

Thatch and I, Andy, Big G and Rob Weightman, headed off to Zebula on Friday afternoon. After a bit of Storm dodging, 40 odd miles out from Zebula the weather was beautiful and we had a magnificent flight for the rest of the way... What goes on tour goes on Facebook... !!! Just kidding but what followed was a GREAT Friday nights party and laughter

Perhaps Pinky perfect will enlighten you on another thread.....

That said though, thats a great offer thanks croc and as soon as your ready let us know, we will pop past and have a coke for sure.,... (^^) (^^) (^^) (^^)
