Towing a banner

Postby Chris Liebenberg » Tue Nov 17, 2009 7:49 am

Someone asked me to tow a promotional banner behind my aeroplane.

Can anybody help me with regards to what are the legal aspects, and what are the risks?

I think you will ave to get a tow rating in the first place. I suggest you contact RAASA and see what they say about that.

It's documented in AIC 64.14 (02-06-15). Find it on CAA website or on the monthly Notam CD you're receiving from CAA. vhpy
