Stephan I cannot tell you how many calls I have made I had telephonic confirmation that ZU-OTT is registered but to get the file from registrations back to engineering is the problem .Monty is now going physically to CAA ,it is frustrating to try and do this 1600k's away. It is also very difficult to be a law abiding citizen . But if you do not have the papers you are the villain. Keep trying.

Same here. Piet e-mailed me the Proving ATF (28/08/2009) and the original arrived in the post yesterday.

Sorry guys but last night I did a Red X flight to Swellendam night landing I must say that the lights at Swellendam are superb as well as the support from the club members. Had to fetch a young mother with a serious problem but sadly we went home empty handed that puts the silly little paper into perspective, such a tragedy in a young family. Coming back to Cape town we and the Front had the same ETA and we did an ILS on runway 01. I was humbled by the experience. Early this morning I picked up the gear from the Epoxy coaters I first had the Epidermix tested in his oven I was actually surprised that the epoxy glue for the carbon fibre brake line retainers worked well. Yesterday afternoon I managed to get an aerial shot of the Bosvark and I will have to change the Avatar. The wind is howling in the fairest so the new gear will be fitted.

As you all can now see The Bosvark is airborne with the newly paperised Class II test pilot and new avatar. The new avatar has two stars and reads "Nothing beats Flying". What a relieve but it will make the road so much easier for the next builders. I must thank Monty to be so persistent with the paperwork and also the people involved in the CAA individually that did their utmost but like a big machine or factory it is not always easy to start such a monster machine.
Boet and his team were absolute stars and after this project we talk daily and we try to manipulate each others brains and after the brain storm the ideas come out to be tested so that you can then in the end get a better way of doing something. It is amazing how Bosvark#2 that is the same aerie as OTT is so much different then #1 . guess that is why factories build prototypes. I will keep this site "Hot".

Now I'm going to bore you people with pictures and little words. I got Richard Adcock to document the first take-off and flight. It was amazing to fly an aircraft no adjustments to trim and to be able to fly hands-off on the first flight. Here are some pictures from take-off to landing and then a fly-by.
