KEEP IT CLEAN!!

Postby THI » Thu Nov 05, 2009 2:04 pm

Bill Whitney, an ex bush pilot, among many things, now living near Seattle sent this.

The moral of this story is KEEP IT CLEAN and I'll bet that pilot has changed his ways.

Bear attack 2009

Apparently a Bear attacked this Super Cub while it was parked
in a remote area in AK. The pilot had not cleaned out the inside
after a long fishing trip and the Bear smelled a fish smell.

The pilot had two new tires, three cases of Duct Tape
(never leave home without it,the greatest stuff)
and several rolls of cellophane delivered to repair
the Cub.... so he could fly it home for airworthy repair.

See pictures attached ... gotta love that Duct Tape!

This is probably what a plane would look like if left overnight in South Africa and we don't even have any bears.
I sometimes get confused............But i'm not sure
