Awesome new bluetooth toy

I bought one of these from Phil in Cape Town. Great price and next day shipping .


I was considering Zulu's because of the Bluetooth interface, but now I can use all the headsets in the various aircraft rather than having to shlepp the headset from aerie to aerie....

Works great all way up t Fl095 and great for foning ahead to see if destination is IMC or not . Clear as a bell. Only down side is I now have 1 less place to "hide" from Mommy .....

I can see the picture, but can you please explain more what it is. Is it a bluetooth headset receiver for your cellphone that goes inline with your headset cables? If so, what cable connectors does it use?

Barry, I am obtaining a unit from Phil Jacobs and will be making a adaptor for the Lynx / Air Magic system, absolutely no reason it wont be possible. By making the adaptor it will be possible to use a standard Lynx / Air Magic headset in a industrial environment also. This makes my life all of a sudden a whole lot simpler...

If you fly alot then this is a must. I ahve had it 2 weeks and have used it plenty. WX updates from Rand when i am still to far to get RX reception. Used it on Animal ferry, but Ceel coverage near Moerlandspan is minimal. There is lots of nothing

While it may be considered a yuppie toy, mine is best gizmo I have bought this year

Am sure a simple 2 into 1 type adapter will work with the lynx system.

It basically just inline system which hooks mic and speaker to your fone via Blue tooth. Cleared that when i speak on the handset.... yu ou plug headset in 1 end and other end into the intercom.
