Xmas Party Western Cape

Postby Morph » Thu Oct 01, 2009 12:57 pm

It's that time again and I am starting to arrange a Xmas party for all WCMC members and Microlighters members who are in the Western Cape at the time

When: 28th November 2009, afternoon into evening, till late.
Where: Morning Star Clubhouse

I am planning on have a sheep or two on the spit and some live music.

I need, some ideas and some help organising this. Last year we had a brilliant party organised by the very able Grumpy

I reckon we can comfortably seat up to 100 people

I also need to get a show of hands as to who is interested in attending

Jokes aside I think "us" guys at Morningstar the HQ of Western Cape Microlight Club need to get behind Morph to get this thing together to make this happen. The man cannot do this on his own he has his own pressures to deal with and some help will get this together for a party to remember! Yassis even Boet's going to come  (^^)

Ok so far the plan is as follows

date remains the same, 28th November

starting around 5ish, families welcome, we are catering for 100 people so I will start sending out confirmation tickets. Little kids eat for free, we are trying to decide where to draw the line, I know some 10 year old boys who could eat a horse

It looks like the price will be in the region of R130-R150 per person.

Lamb on the spit, (chicken for Skid), veggies and salads, bread desert etc
One red and one white wine per table
Music will kick in after the food, about 7 to 8pm
party till you drop

booze prices are very reasonable
normal beers/ciders R8.00, Long Toms R10, single and mix, R10, double R15, coldrinks R5

email me by pressing the email logo on the right of this message with confirmations. I will send you your tickets and details of the bank account for deposits

please give me a cell phone number end email address so I can confirm with the booking
