No, I think it was a microlighter who had an enjin out, and did not have the prescribed strips, let alone first aid kit, maps, extinguisher with him.

5 July 2009

Had a bit of a bumpy flip yesterday, with a bergwind of 30mph rolling over the mountain at Aurora. Today, however, was smoooooth.

I was flying at Fisantekraal today, and on our last circuit, Karl came back from his flight with the guys.
I went to chat to him and he was grinning ear-to-ear! So happy to finally be able to do the flight!! vhpy
His only complaint was you all fly to fast!! :lol:
Great to see the logs Gert, keep it up! The really help when the weather is bad! (^^) (^^)
