Charges for Approach and Landing at Wonderboom?

Postby bobthebuilder » Thu Sep 03, 2009 11:45 am

Twice now, I have been invoiced for Approach and Landing at Wonderboom. On both occasions, I have never been anywhere near their airport or airspace for that matter. I was credited, but suggest that everyone check their statements.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Probably mixing up the ZU- and ZS- registrations

We landed at rand some time ago and were told that they would send an invoice. I was contacted by someone affiliated to ATC who confirmed details. But ..... that invoice never arrived.

Seems like their whole system could be a bit of a mess.

Rand sent me an invoice for a landing which I did not do, they kept sending the same invoice every month for about 10 years
