JetRanger, you are quick with your avatar!

It was taken at the weekends airshow at Vredendal!

Hi Llewellyn,

No, The avatar was taken at Vredendal yesterday at the fly-in.
Quite per chance the M24 and the Sycamore ended up parking next to each other!!

By the way... I couldnt agree with you more! First you master the machine... then you share it with others, then you use it to expand your horizons to venture into the unknown (usually one man one machine with other like-minded folk).

As for the M24 and Sycamore.... Photo opportunity I couldn't miss of course!
Soon they will both be mine!

I hovered around the gyro’s a bit, (off course!) but unfortunately we did not meet. I must admit my mood wasn’t the best…..I drove in!

As soon as I have my wings I definitely would like to visit all the airfields in the W-Cape and meet all my fellow gyronauts!

The Sycamore is looking good! Much bigger in real life.

Pity that, I would have liked to meet you.
Oh well, next time!
Yes, you'd be most welcome at FAFK and Morningstar. I look forward to meeting you.

Hi Low Level

Dankie

Pierre

Hi Pierre

Na my mening maak die rotor opgradering 'n baie groter verskil as 'n groter engine.

Die Sycamore vlieg so goed soos enige ander gyro.

I will try: Low Level wrote: The Sycamore is a great gyro at an even better price.

One big advantage of the sycamore, the passenger enjoy the flight a lot more than the other open gyros. Unfortunately Tinkerbell doesn't miss her turn to fly and I need to take the back seat in the Ela ever so often and on most days it is not fun in the back, due to wind, not the pilot. Had the courage once to fly with Low Level   and found it a lot less windy (without doors) and enjoyable with more space in the back.

Hear-hear!
=D*

Now the secret is out... There are a couple of Sycamores available at less than the 914 engine is worth (**)

350 hours on mine so far, with several long-distance flights done and I am keeping it! I love my Sycamore in spite of what anyone may have to say about it. Chicks dig it
