Where are you now?
Re: Where are you now?
Sitting in Dubai airport waiting for the 4:40am flight to Johannesburg, then connecting through to Durban. Oh boy, I am looking forward to the direct flights to Durban as of 01 October 2009; that will shorten my trip by at least 3 hours!!!

Re: Where are you now?
went for a spin in a Piper Aztec to a neighbouring mine the last couple of days... flew over some of the most isolated and desolate places I have seen ( I specialise in isolated and desolate;)
The mine we visited had a long history and obviously at some point had an active aeroclub... its been going since the 1950's

In Lyon and it is a battle to find anyone who speak English here. Tested the public transport to get around tomorrow as the taxi to the hotel was Euro 55.00 !!!
Looking forward to a good nights rest and then the work can begin.
