We're not all Skygods with perfect radios or perfect radio procedures. Live with it and enjoy flying for the thrill it is. When you nitpick you cant be enjoying yourself. He's probably a flying taxi driver. shame.
As for my opinion on the use of 'currently'? Aaag, so what, it takes one 10th of a second. At least we know you mean NOW, not in a few minutes or a few minutes ago.
