Was up and about at first sparrows yesterday morning, and like I promised myself, managed to do some flying. We live in a very beautifull corner of SA. The flowertjies is open, and there was not a breath of wind for the whole of today, and yesterday. Magic carpet ride stuff!! vhpy The Animal is sharing hangar space with my Turbi. Nice to open your hanger doors and this round engine thingy is standing there. vhpy vhpy vhpy vhpy The R4Ker man says the paperworx is in order, and he should have his PFA on Tuesday. We hope.

I know zip about things aviational, but Boet, that radial gives that aircraft just a certain "je ne say kwa" as the Frogs would say although I think they spell it better. That is a very very fine machine Sir. It just looks "right"

Just on the colour scheme... found it reminiscent of these guys, thereby showing my age-

Oil and petrol for The Animal in venture together with tools, fire extinguisher, crowbar hacksaw etc. Tomorrow is the day when the animalistic one is to be tamed. George is in a flutter. Can`t say I blame him. My heart goes boempittyboem, just THINKING about tomorrow. How the hell must I sleep tonight??? (**) (**) (**)

FAVB to Moerlandspanvlakte is 2.5hrs in RV airlines at balls to the wall. First light is 6.40ish. That leaves maybe 2hrs drool time and then back to HBV is 3.3hrs, but will need to refuel if I fly in yellow all the way.... Back via FAKM is cutting it fine....... Decisions decisions..........

Maybe Candle light takeoff at 5am puff puff puff assuming I can get to sleep tonight.

Boet said he was going to fly today, then all went quiet...    Bl!ksem. I though he pranged somehwere and that why he not returning my SMS.
