:) Hey Grumpy, You mean the "waterway" looks familiar that we take off from. That aside the birdies look so comfy flying, take off and all systems go for them, imagine no airspeed indicators, VSI, rpm gauge, temps, fuel.... maybe only some flaps and undercarriage required for the landing which they will also not forget to let down....! :wink:

Some kouevoëls from Wintervogel traded flying for sailing with Klaas on Saturday. He has the Cape weather waxed. No-wind=fly, wind=sail, rain= :oops: ** he doesn't say. (**)

Grumpy's new plane arrived at Wintervogel, offloaded and being reassembled. John did the honours with a vhpy happy, not grumpy Grumpy and some eager helping hands to assist. Someone also made the coffee I think. (^^)

Saturday was the last leg of the Bergriver Canoe Marathon between Zoutkloof and Veldrif. We decided to fly to Zoutkloof and then follow the river past Kersefontein and see if we can find and follow the canoe's to Veldrif. We imagined the river to be full after last weeks rain but not to the extend we found. It must have been a mission for these guys just to find there way throught the floods and not get lost. (**) Kersefontein, although half flooded, still provided a landing spot and Hans appeared with all the dope for a braai. (^^)
