Re: Its arrived
What does she become now that she will be registered in NZ KL? I have to say that I really had a lump in my throat when I removed my ZU-CXR markings from underneath my wing and replaced them with 32-4817. Microlight 4817 just does not have the same ring to it as CXR. And it made the move over here kind of final for me.

Shees kebab if you have a trike that was egistered as ZS then it's quite old. They went to ZU quite a while ago.
Nuts about Cheetahs. Petit is the place.

It was new an sparkly in 1991,so its old,but not as old as me
.Must have been well looked after, doesn't show anywhere near the wear I do either.Done a bit over 500hrs on engine and frame, about 250 on wing (aquilla 1)They're a good solid looking trike

Re: Its arrived
Sorry guys, forgot to keep up with this one, been to busy asking questions in the tech section
.Have now got the old girl reassembled, and am currently wading my way through the mire of CAA requirements to get it off the ground. Will replace the Hang bolts and a few other wing bolts this weekend, just for peace of mind.Have done a couple of high speed taxi's and all seems good. I love the simple rugged build of these trikes, will be ideal for beach and paddock landings.
Spatzi 69--- I'm half way down the other island, probably 12 hrs drive and a ferry ride from you, but there is an ex solowings guy ( now solowings agent )not far from you, Colin Alexander. He's very involved with the micro scene here and is currently our Raanz technical officer. I'm sure he'll point you in the right direction
