Hey Alan,

tks for the game drive / flight this morning. Had a great flt back.
What a amazing trip. Flew down yesterday, with dad, Virginia, Margate, Port St. Johns, Umtata  , Kei Mouth, Port Alfred / 43rd, G/Town. and then back today same route. 12.4 hrs in 2 days, not bad going. The transkei must be one of the most beautiful area's in the country. Mile, after mile, (to be read 200ft, 80 kts,) of nothingness. At some stage, I thought that the radio had packed up. PLanning on leaving again tomorrow, probelm is where to now. Namibia??? Have pics, will make a plan (wart - HELP) to get some of the better one's online. tks alan for drinks last night, and for the flip this morning. Note to all, if you are landing at a airfield, where there are landing fees, (Umtata  ), DON'T say you have a pax R45.00. Rather say, you are a crew member. Yes, today, my lil sis was my "co-pilot, (who needs a co pilot on a 22), she told the guys that she was "map reader).

Actually I am one of Junkies few failures (Anyone offering remedial flying lessons?? Lessons for students with “special needs”)
 Objection your honour -Junkie has never had a single failure. ( ok were not talkin about dem udder wuns right now !) I prefer to think of my awsum prowess as instructor, sometimes having to handle these difficult cases as a Project without a Beginning and an End date, is all :P  8)

My remedial offering is highly effective and consists of a set of jumper leads attached to any handy source of megawatts - werk elke keer. I just need to figure out how to get those vapour stains off my leather outfit and genuine dark ages stocks I had installed in cellar, just for this very important work.   (**)

Griff baby, u just gotta 'member to open yer eyes when ya get close to mutha erf & push out a little on the ol bar man, oh and dont think either kay ! :P :P  :D

Thanks Guys for the birthday wishes

It was really nice to meet KB in person. Any other passing aviators are more than welcome. On a more depressing note about birthdays, I just heard on the radio this morning that in three years time I am eligable to retire at the Milkwoods Retirement Village.

Got a hour training on Wednesday and it felt like I flew for the first time. Not that nice butterflies in the gutt etc. But it felt like I could do nothing right.
Thanfully I know I'm not the only one. Next time I'll nail it for sure.

One hour of bad flying beats two weeks of no flying hands down.

Got to fly with Ian Wylde this weekend. Put a smile on the face for a couple of days.
