Hi M

Felt bad not stopping to say hello at your field. I was so pushed for time (two a day is enough! ;-). The other passenger was allready waitng for his flip when I took of at Morningstar. Do pass there again later the day but you had allready left by then.

See you next time!

Hey Extra,

next time stop and come for a cuppa coffee at MS, we saw you in the morning and then in the afternoon, taking off and landing but no hello.

BTW, interesting choices with the mist

Sounds like you had some fun.
I took someone up the other day in less than perfect conditions (safe but bumpy as hell) after the flight, I said he should come and fly again when conditions are better.... His reply?......... HUH? He said he didn't notice the bumps.

I have decided to fly when I want to and not wait for those perfect conditions. I went for a 2.5 hour flight last week in PERFECT conditions and thought there was something wrong with my trike ( I didn't have to do a cross wind landing and didn't have to fight the turbulence on finals ) it was great. But for the rest of the time, I just relax and enjoy the flying.

How many hours do you have now Karl?

Hi Karl

I have about 55 at the moment, but I am working hard at it. I am trying to make good use of the good winter weather we are having at the moment.

I flew between 3pm and 4pm. We were doing touch-n-goes at Altona, there were a few bumbs there but otherwise, nothing! vhpy
I must admit, Flying in that weather yesterday really reminds you why you love it! (^^) vhpy
The other nice thing was it took us about 10 mins to get to Altona and in that time I didn't have Louis telling me to do this and do that, as he does in the pattern sometimes! (**) (But Not all the time!) I'm a good student!
But there were a lot of light aeries in the air yesterday along with a gyro or 2! Louis was chatting to one gyro out of Morningstar.
When your cold gets better... lets hope the weathers good!
Cheers
Ross

Careful with the"sky God" comments Ross. You a bit young to start prejudices that you have very little experience about.
I agree that there some @rsehole blik pilots around, but there are an equal amount of similar trike pilots too. An @rsehole remains one no matter what they fly.
Don't let people around you brainwash or influence you unduly. Make up your own mind about people based on your own experiences.

Will take your advice with thanks!
I know @rseholes who are not even pilots! (**) ##
You are quite right. Thanks for that!
