AP Cover Prize winner is .....

Postby ZS-NEL » Tue May 19, 2009 5:24 pm

I know if you mention any magazine name on Avcom you will get shot before sunset. So, if the mods approve I would like to mention the African Pilot monthly cover prize winner here if it's OK and its a forum member. If not feel free to remove. This is the second time that a forum member won this. Agent won a dirty weekend away a few months ago.
For the April Cover prize: Congrats to Stephan Van Tonder who has won the electronic airfiels directory of Africa. (^^)

Can we try to get an article with the assembly of an ML? How does it arrive when you order it? What needs doing? I love going over to Rietfontein to assemble the wing - it takes like 10 minutes of work and 13 minutes of watching people work....

Would be a nice article.

Demon: Can you please give me the link to the article.
I think it would be nice to have one in AP as well though. I know people that fly but aren't on this site. As well as ex-pilots who get the mag but are not on Avcom/Microlighters. Also, it would be nice to do an article on a SA trike as apposed to a Quik-R because many SA pilots buy SA trikes. Maybe half of the article could be getting one from overseas and the other half could be getting one from SA. Suggestions for SA trikes would be Solo Wings, Aerotrike etc.
This is just my 2c
