Carnarvon Fly In

Flew in and stayed over one night in Carnavon on our way back from the Smart-Ass tour! Must say these are a very very nice runways and even nicer people!!! Will try my best to attend this one!

How ling will it take to get there with the trike?
Routing Springs - New Tempe Bloemfontein(Refuel with Avgas) - Carnavon, at an airspeed of 65mph you looking at approx 8 hours. We flew this route in April in about 7 hours with a little tailwind. One days flying for a great weekend!!!! vhpy vhpy

Ek was verlede jaar by die Tangua flyin, dit was net so uitstekend uitstekend as Carnarvon. net jammer dis nou op dieselfde naweek as Carnarvon. Ek is verplig om my belofte te hou wat reeds in Februarie hul datum bekend gemaak het. Ek sien jul dus in Carnarvon voorspoed met al die relings.

Voorlopig lyk dit soos drie aeries vanaf Tempe maar ons sal jul op hoogte hou.

Ek neen aan petrol sal beskikbaar wees.

Ek is op soek na 'n instrukteur of iemand met ondervinding wat sou belangstel om saam met my te vlieg as mede vlieenier na die Carnarvon fly-in. Ek vlieg vanaf Greyton in die Weskaap met Aquila 582. Ek het nie die ondervinding (guts) om die trip alleen aan te pak nie. Ek sal brandstof en trike voorsien.

Ek het hulp nodig vir brandstof in die De aar omgewing. Ek sal kan vlieg sover as De aar en sal dan moet brandstof ingooi. So as daar iemand is wat my sal kan help sal ek bly wees.

Haai Julle kom ons probeer om ten minste 'n paar van ons te identifiseer. Ek sal 'n donker blou viegoorpak dra en 'n Aviation & Safety Magazine pet. Kom met Gissie se Jora van Knysna. Ja en ons behoort almal die Carnarvon toring duidelik te hoor want Santjie bring die regte kragtige toerusting van Bloemfontein met 'n sleepwa. Die naweek sal uit en uit die moeite werd wees. Werkswinkels oor veiligheid, veselglaswerk, radio prosedures ens. Van my kant af 2 Joras, 1 Whisper, 1 Cheeta, 1 RV
en moontlik 'n Piepiestraal Skuus Pipestral. 6 ander ook met motors.
Sien julle daar!
