AP in CapeTown/Brackenfell area?
I found an engine for sale in CapeTown, and would like to try and hire a local AP to inspect it for me.
Any volunteers???
Thanks!

Before I go any further with this. Just got some more info. The owner claims it is a 912, but has pull start. I have never heard of that before... Is he perhaps confused, or was there really a 912 with pull start?

no a 912 does not have a pull start. He sounds confused. Ask him how many pistons there are, infact get him to send you a photo

Thought so. Better get some more info before paying good money for an inspection...Morph wrote:no a 912 does not have a pull start. He sounds confused. Ask him how many pistons there are, infact get him to send you a photo

Phoned the guy. It is an OLD 503 from a Phoenix ( Flynix
) As old as the hills, still belt-drive, points ignition etc.
