Tracer wrote:Sorry Porra, couldn't get the guys to route out to the west, they were concerned about the amount of traffic in the area.

We were a 3-ship formation that took of from Swartkops, routed over Waterkloof, then on to Silverlakes. At Silverlakes the formation split and we all did our Aerobatic Sorties.

It was execllent, can't wait to go again.... (^^) (^^) (^^) (^^)

Will post some pics later over the weekend.....

Awesome ! Bloody awesome !!! vhpy

The other day I bumped into this short guy at CAA's carpark and he introduced himself as Laurie Kay. Name rang a bell but that was it. Had a lengthy discussion with this soft spoken gent, only to find out afterwards that he was a team aerobatics stalward in the 60's and 70's, flew the 747 over Ellispark and has a flying record stretching from here to eternity !

And what struck me most was his interest in what I was flying ! Remarkable GENTLEMAN. Marius I envy you for having flown with a true ACE ! vhpy

I agree 100% Kloot Piloot, he is a great guy. I didn't know who he was when I saw him, but when he introduced himself, I knew our formation will be led by one of the great avaitors around. After the flight we were chatting as well and like you say, he is very interested in what you fly and your experiences.

Even Danie, the pilot I flew with was talking about my flight experience all the time. Was nice that they showed interest in us Microlight pilot.

OHH, both Maruis and myself got to take control of the "Stick" a couple of times and fly the Harvard .. (^^) (^^) (^^) (^^)
