I know of gyro Squadron 196 doing a trip from Cape Town via Kimberley to Botswanna...

Flew from Rand to Bethlehem and back in the slowest 172 EVER :roll:

Light Flight To Richards Bay, back to Virginia for late breakfast and then back Light Flight again. (Sun 19th April. 3.4 Hours in the Sting :) )

Richards bay is still squarely on Zululand time, Tower and entire airport only opened at 10:30 am :(

Interesting stories will be told from ATC experiences & 50mph headwinds... and you okes thought the wind only blows in Cape Town (**)
