I refer to the discussion under Low Level Flying.
It is a nice feeling to fly low at high speed and nobody will deny that.
Flying low over the Bronkhorstspruit dam is not acceptable and has been discussed in the past.
Flying low over fenced farm animals can cause a lot of fear and even loss of livestock.
May we fly low in the demarcated General Flying Areas (Pretoria GF1 and GF2)?
However, having looked at all the post, I think it is time for us at SAGPA to put together a code of conduct, regardless of what the rules say.
Please help with recommendations, not only low flying but other issues as well.
1. I will not fly below 500ft except in the demarcated areas.
2. ……………
3. ……….…..
It is far more important to adhere to the rules or common sense and keep the authorities happy.
One last question. Who do we get to police these rules and my recommended Code-of-Conduct and what would be the punishment?

Re: Code-of-Conduct for Gyro Pilots
Well stated, T-bird! If we stick to the basics of 'common courtesy and consideration', all should be well.

Good instructors always speak well about all flying machines.
Bad instructors speak badly about machines they cannot fly.
