MORNING STAR FREQUENCY CHANGE

Postby mikemat » Thu Feb 12, 2009 12:19 pm

I understand that from today (courtesy of Len) Morning Star falls into Delta 200 and the frequency accordingly changes from 124.8 to 124.4.

All pilots operating out of Morning Star Airfield will comply with AIC 21.33 and fly circuits east of the N7 on frequency 124.8MHz.

Any traffic departing from Morning Star westbound will broadcast on 125.8MHz .

Good instructors always speak well about all flying machines.
Bad instructors speak badly about machines they cannot fly.

That frequency on the bottom refers to the FAD200 and it's new boundaries, not Morning Star..... CAN YOU LIKE TO HEAR ME?

Hi John,

The other frequencies is:
i) Special Rules East - 124.8MHz
ii) Special Rules West - 125.8MHz

Didn't deem it necesary to mention those, since you should be on one of them approaching FAD200.

All frequencies stays the same, it is just the area(shape) of the FAD200 that changed.

The biggest problem was that a lot of guys recieved a email a while back which stated that morningstar would be in the FAD200, and thus 124.4MHz. That AIP has been retracted and a new one issued since with the new areas stippulated!!

If only....

Hope all is clear now!!

Regards,
