Microflight Africa Easter Edition

Postby alanmack » Fri Feb 06, 2009 11:52 pm

The Easter Edition of Microflight Africa is taking shape. Please send content to nemo@webo.co.za The deadline for content and advert submissions is 1 March. The magazine will be finalised on 9 March after the SA National Champ’s results are in. The SA Competition ends on 8 March. The magazine will be posted towards the end of March. If you do not have the documentation to renew your membership then please email Natasha at the Aero Club. Her email address is

nsteyn@aeroclub.org.za

With the last magazine you got your 2009 MISASA badge. With the Easter Edition you will get a MISASA cap.

PLEASE

Remember that the magazine goes to paid up members so you need to renew your membership before 1 March to get this edition. If you renew after this date you will get the Winter Edition but not the Easter Edition.

Please tell your friends that it is time to renew their membership.

I suggest that you:

Phone / email Natasha at the Aero Club to make sure that you are on the mailing list. Tel: 086 101 8018 or Email nsteyn@aeroclub.org.za

The magazine goes to those on the membership list at the time of printing. The Christmas edition was posted on 17 December 2008 and so it went to those on the membership list the week before posting. Many people applied and or phoned re joining but only wanted to do so from 2009. Thus their 1st magazine would be the Easter Edition. This said, I had an extra 150 copies printed which I gave to the Aero Club to send out to the first 150 new members in 2009.

You said you are paid up "as usual" thus it seems you are not on the list for some reason or your friendly postman enjoys aviation?

Other alternatives: Reply with your postal address and I'll post you a copy. I have a few left over from the drive to get adverts. If you want to meet and collect > I'm flying to Durban for Kevin Fuller's wake at Light Flight tomorrow and from there to Cape Town and will be back in Jhb later next week if you want to meet and collect we could do so in one of these cities.

I only joined last week, but would love to have a copy of the first edition - I will pay for it if I have to. Maybe you guys have an extra copy destined for a doctor's waiting room or something. -0<

Please send me the Petit News ASAP to make the Easter Edition. This goes for all other clubs as well - just send the content please - also - this mag is to feature owner's reviews - why I love my plane - it's a valentine thing - send your stories - sooner the better to:

Hello George

Have you asked Natasha to post you a copy or if you prefer I suggest that you go there and collect it.

I see you live in Bedfordview which is close to the Aero Club at Rand Airport. I would have to drive to the Aero Club from Sandton (about 30km from home or 100km from work) collect you a copy and then post it to Bedfordview.

If you are a paid up member and she will not help you then please let me know.
