3 axis convex/type rating form

Postby RV4ker (RIP) » Sat Sep 10, 2005 10:07 pm

Any idea if the form required for 3 axis convex/type rating is available on CAA/Misasa/other website?
CA61-164 is only conversion/type rating form I can find on CAA and it looks like it for the big biys only.

Anyone... -0< -0< -0<

The form is available on the CAA website as a PDF. It is CA 61-13-02, "Flight Crew Licence Conversions"

Under "Forms and Applications" "Licencing and Examinations" Second from the bottom of Section A: Licencing forms just above section B "Examinations Entry Forms"

Land at Panorama :? wait for circuit at Rand to be less congested and do the 15min flight then...

IMHO
Join overhead and keep circuit tight..... Fly higher than normal approach when runway to spare. In future when flying to bigger blik aerie runways in ML I will ask for landing on grass between runway and taxiway and be at least 500' over numbers and land deeper but looks like it will be loooooong time b4 that happens

Done about 30hrs since Martha went in and first 10 or so approaches were way too high. Landing 29 at Rand I usually vacate either first T/O or 35/17. On first couple landings thereafter just made second to last T/O (1500m+)...

Not a nice feelin and don't wish it on anybody....
Guess it true what they say. Big fan to keep pilot cool. If it stops man what him sweat....

PS
Signed convex form still in my logbook     .

All part of life !!!! I know the feeling, when I experienced a wing bolt failure on my trike....after repairs, the next 15 hours were flown along the coast, 10 ft off the deck....It took awhile to get over the powerful mental feeling....
