OPTIONS FOR AN 582 WITH MORE THAN 600HRS.

Postby EL MEXICANO » Sat Feb 09, 2013 10:55 pm

HI Guys what is the options for getting an 582 engine with more than 600HRS. to pass the annual inspection?
Do you have to open the engine or can you do the inspection of the engine some other way? (**)

The best to ask is Duck Rogers or Alex Rudd.

Hi Henning.

You can look at AIC 18.4 Alternative Maintenance Schedule for Rotax 2 strokes. This is available on the CAA webpage. You can also visit the Rotax aircraft engines webpage and download the Maintenance Manuals stepulating the requirements from the Manufacturer. If there are any more questions you can ask one of your local Approved Persons or you can pm me.

Greetings
