I read somewhere that P&M are bringing out a wing with a 100mph handsoff cruise sometime in Jan? Fact or fiction?

From what I can tell there is only a minimum speed that the microlight must be able to maintain being 65km/h at max all up weight. No upper limit.

And if it doesn't? What does it get registered as then?

Good question. Answer is an aeroplane. (Actually Microlights are registered as aeroplanes too)

Just means you cannot fly it on a Microlight licence.

yes it is registered as a NTCA (non-type certified aircraft) and then needs a PPL to fly it.

Diesel, im assuming that would be with a 912 and not a 582 :?:
Which is most definately the case as i dont think they even consider 582's anymore over there, where here in sa most of usa still fly with 503 & 582.

Doubt it Massimo...912 Turbo (912S) not even 912...but to be honest at P&M's pricing for the GT450 I would expect a good price. It's most likely also topless.

Yup Diesel, lot of chatter about this plane on some of the UK boards,

Seems like it will be based on the GT450, with a 912s and a topless wing, electric trim, etc, etc, etc....

I will ask big-g about this new aircraft next week, I need a new edge, so many GT450's around now
Yea, know what you mean! I think it's time you upgraded and passed your aging black beauty to the east  I promise to stick with tradition and take lots of chicks / foreigners as pax. Besides there's an unbalance in the force, ZU-RAY's white angel needs a demon around
