This week, James and Brett had reason to celebrate, and it was Brett's B*day as well.

James, the braai-master with the ceremonial hat

Brett, the birthday boy with official head-gear

The entertainer :D
Our solo parties have a bit of a tradition to them. Each student must put on the ceremonial hat (an old prop-spinner with a trike in it, which puts all students in a spin

Brett had to do all radio-calls from before entering the runway to landing at Ballito airfield

James had to talk us through all the actions from getting into his plane to lining up on the runway... including checks. He screwed up so badly from the beginning, that his laughing fits prevented him from continuing past checking radio frequency, but it was most enjoyable to watch :D :D

Another tradition, is that the student must supply a 5lt keg of beer. Neither James nor Bret could find one in Durban, so James went to fetch his in Germany
